thank you Tiauna for seeing me today unfortunately the material I brought to represent myself was not up to standards due to lack of funds I took my own head shots and made my own resume. my resume did not have enough improv training on it being new to this industry I didn't know what to expect from an agent I was under the impression that they would take you under their wings and put together a marketable package for you, being there going to take a percentage of your projects..apparently the agent wants you to spend your own money on acting classes your own money on photographers your own money on printing while they reap the rewards by simply pointing you in the right direction, basically it's you need money to make money...my opinion if a company wants to achieve greatness they must take a risk and a chance on people..Tiauna was very helpful in giving me advice and actually telling what needs to be done for a novice like me...I did feel rejected considering I've only been doing this for a year and I already have several IMDB credits Sag eligible have over 30 projects under my belt from television film commercials music videos PSAs..acting classes under a well-known credible acting coach and actor Sal Landi over a year...Sal did teach me that if you can't handle rejection this business isn't for you you have to be in it for the love of the art of acting and nothing more.. after that being said I will never surrender and continue doing the best I can with the funds I have.. again thank you Tiauna for the eye opener...
